I am beyond thrilled to announce that Offploy has been recognised in the prestigious Meaningful Business MB100 for 2024! With over 850 applications from more than 80 countries, being included in this global recognition of leaders who combine profit with purpose is a huge honour—not just for me, but for the entire team at Offploy.
This recognition means more than just a title. It’s a testament to the dedication, resilience, and passion of everyone at Offploy, working hard every day to deliver on both sides of our mission: generating profit to sustain our business while fulfilling our purpose of reducing reoffending through meaningful employment.
A Journey of Trust and Teamwork
Reflecting on this achievement, I can't help but think about my time in prison. In a twist of fate, I lived on the same wing as one of our senior leaders. Life has a funny way of coming full circle, and now, that same person has become one of the driving forces behind Offploy’s success. Another key leader joined us when we needed help the most—when the ship felt like it was veering off course. Both of them, alongside their teams, have been instrumental in carrying forward Offploy’s mission at times when I couldn’t.
Their relentless dedication has ensured that Offploy continues to thrive. The profit we generate isn’t just numbers on a spreadsheet; it’s fuel for our purpose-driven mission. My role as a leader has been simple: to provide them with the resources and space to excel. When you have a team as committed and capable as ours, giving them the freedom to shine is the best thing you can do.

As I proudly accept this recognition, it’s crucial to remember that this is not just my award. I accept it on behalf of every single colleague at Offploy who works tirelessly to balance our profit with our purpose. We are a team that truly believes in the power of second chances, and every success we achieve belongs to each one of us. This award symbolises the collective hard work, the highs and the challenges, and most importantly, the lives we’ve helped change along the way.
